A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect from midnight tonight to noon CST Thursday.

* Location...north central and central Missouri.

* Timing...snow will begin late tonight and taper off by noon Thursday. Light freezing drizzle is possible late Thursday morning and early Thursday afternoon.

* Snow/ice accumulations...1 to 2 inches of snow...with locally higher amounts possible. Little to no ice accumulation.

* Impacts...light snow will likely accumulate on roadways causing them to become slick. This could cause travel difficulties during the Thursday morning commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving.
