Freezing Rain Advisory
Statement as of 3:46 PM CST on November 26, 2015

... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 6 PM CST Friday...

* timing... rain will continue through the day and could start
freezing to surfaces as early as 9 PM. Ice accumulation will
continue through the overnight hours before gradually tapering
off Friday afternoon. Light freezing rain with some sleet mixed in
could persist off and on through the day on Friday.

* Ice accumulations... around a tenth to a quarter of an inch of ice
accumulation is expected by Friday afternoon.

* Main impact... ice accumulation is possible on elevated
surfaces like bridges... power lines... and trees. Weak tree
branches could break under the weight of the ice accretion...
and any untreated sidewalks and Road surfaces will become
quite slick.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.
