At 800 PM CDT Saturday evening... flooded small streams were very
slowly receding across much of south central Minnesota. Due to very
high water along the Minnesota river and its immediate
tributaries... overland flooding will be slow to further recede the
remainder of this weekend.

roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.
Report flooding to the nearest law enforcement agency so that they
may take appropriate action to close flooded roadways. They will

the Minnesota river at Henderson.
* At 3:00 PM Saturday the stage was 737.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 732.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 737.7 feet by
tomorrow evening then begin falling.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 738.5
feet on Apr 28 2001.
