Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 6:05 AM CST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 11 PM this
evening to 9 PM CST Tuesday...

* timing... snow will develop late this evening and become heavy
at times overnight. The snow will taper off Tuesday morning...
as winds increase behind a cold front. The strong winds will
produce areas of blowing snow through Tuesday evening.

* Snow accumulations... 3 to 6 inches.

* Winds/visibility... wind gusts around 35 mph will produce areas
of blowing snow and visibilities less than one mile in open
areas.

* Impacts... travel will be difficult tonight with the heavy snow
and Tuesday with the blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
