* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
late Wednesday morning March 24th. Additional rises are possible.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... Cottonwood street west of the river becomes
flooded.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 13.9 feet
on Mar 14 2007.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 796.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 803.9 feet by
this afternoon March 21st then begin falling. Additional rises are
possible.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 799.8
feet on Apr 4 2009.

* At 11:00 am Sunday the stage was 25.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 25.2 feet by this
afternoon March 21st. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday
morning March 24th. Additional rises are possible
* impact... at 25.0 feet... Highway 169 between St Peter and Mankato
begins flooding at various places.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 26.5 feet
on Apr 27 2001.

At 800 PM CDT Saturday evening... flooded small streams were very
slowly receding across much of south central Minnesota. Due to very
high water along the Minnesota river and its immediate
tributaries... overland flooding will be slow to further recede the
remainder of this weekend.

roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely.
Report flooding to the nearest law enforcement agency so that they
may take appropriate action to close flooded roadways. They will
