An area of showers and isolated thunderstorms has developed this morning in west central Minnesota. This area of thundershowers will move over areas west of Interstate 35 through noon. The front edge of this area of active weather will bring showers to The Fort Ripley...Brainerd...Lake Mille Lacs and Malmo areas. Expect an occasional cloud to ground lightning strike within this area of unsettled weather. The area of lightning activity will move to the northeast...nearing the Western Shores of Lake Mille lacs by 1030. Rainfall accumulation will remain below one tenth of an inch as these thundershowers pass through the area.
