Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:59 AM CST on March 03, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

The National Weather Service in Grand Forks has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow which is in effect
until 6 PM CST this evening. The blizzard watch is no longer in
effect.

* Timing... this morning through Tuesday afternoon.

* Winds... northwest winds 30 to 35 mph with gusts to near 50 mph
possible by mid morning.

* Visibilities... may be reduced to less than one half mile at
times... especially in open country.

* Snow accumulations... from 1 to 4 inches with large variations
from south to north... with highest amounts in southern
portions of counties.

* Other impacts... localized areas of near blizzard conditions
possible at times in open country when snow combines with strong
winds early this morning. Hazardous wind chills will develop
tonight.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
