The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 11 am this morning to 6 PM CDT
this evening.

* Strong winds will develop late this morning and continue
through the afternoon.

* Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph can be

* High profile vehicles could have difficulty traveling on north
south oriented roads due to the strong winds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 mph or higher...
or gusts over 45 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can make
driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

Statement as of 3:38 AM CDT on March 29, 2015

... Light rain may freeze on cold surfaces creating slick travel
early this morning...

Light rain will move across the area through 6 am this morning.
With temperatures hovering right around to slightly below freezing
in some locations the rain may freeze to cold surfaces resulting
in slippery travel conditions. Also... south winds could gust to 35
mph at times. Temperatures will quickly warm above freezing after
sunrise melting any ice that has formed. Any ice accumulations
will be light... generally a glaze or less. Drive with caution this
