...Thanksgiving night snowfall potential and wintry weekend...

A band of snow is expected to develop Thursday afternoon across central North Dakota. As it moves to the east during the evening a quick burst of intense snowfall is expected to produce 2 to 4 inches of snow. The snow band will exit the area early and quickly Friday morning. Winds will be light Friday with minimal blowing snow issues. However an Arctic front is expected on Saturday and increasing wind speeds are likely to produce some blowing snow along with bitter wind chills for the latter half of the Holiday weekend.
