A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM EST Friday. * Periods of snow will continue through Friday. The snow will also mix with sleet... freezing rain and rain at times. * Expect additional snow accumulations tonight through Friday of 2 to 5 inches. Light ice accumulations are also possible inland from Lake Superior. * Roads will be snow covered and slippery... and because the snow will be mixed with sleet... freezing rain... and rain... travel will be especially hazardous. Shoveling and plowing of the snow will also be difficult. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory for snow... sleet... and freezing rain means that periods of mixed precipitation will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered and slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
