* Timing/duration... a mix of freezing rain... snow and sleet is expected to develop late Thursday afternoon or Thursday evening. The precipitation may change to all freezing rain early Thursday evening and then switch to just rain from southwest to northeast Thursday night.
* Main impact... there is the potential for roads to become extremely slippery early Thursday night for several hours before temperatures rise above freezing. This includes the Indiana tollroad... Highway 6... Interstate 94 and Interstate 69 over far northern Indiana into lower Michigan.
* Other impacts... ice will also accumulate on cold objects such as trees and power lines. Increasing winds may cause an increased risk of power outages.
