... Lake effect Snow Advisory remains in effect until 2 PM EST
this afternoon...

Hazardous weather...

* light to moderate lake effect snow showers to the east of
   Marquette will diminish this afternoon. Expect light snow showers
   or flurries over the rest of Marquette County.

* Northwest winds gusting to 25 mph near Lake Superior... especially
   to the east of Harvey... will result in blowing snow and sharply
   reduced visibilities.

* Up to 1 inch of additional snow accumulation is expected this
   afternoon to the east of Harvey... including at Shot Point.

Impacts...

* due to blowing and drifting snow and poor visibility at
   times... Highway M-28 remains closed between kawbawgam Road near
   Harvey... east to Munising. Elsewhere... snow covered roads will
   remain slippery and patchy blowing snow will reduce visibility in
   open areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

* a lake effect Snow Advisory Means Lake effect snow is
   forecast that will make travel difficult in some areas.
