... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until noon EDT /11 am CDT/
Wednesday...

The National Weather Service in Marquette has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until noon EDT /11 am
CDT/ Wednesday.

Hazardous weather...

* snow showers will increase in intensity and coverage during the
   night with the heaviest snow falling late tonight through mid
   morning on Wednesday. The snow will then diminish in intensity
   late Wednesday morning and early afternoon.

* By noon Wednesday... expect new snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches
   over the higher terrain from Ironwood and Wakefield to The
   Porcupine mountains... Rockland and Mass City. Snow accumulations
   along Lake Superior and from Watersmeet to Bruce Crossing will
   range from 1 to 3 inches.

Impacts...

* roads will become snow and slush covered during the night. Use
   extra caution for the Wednesday morning commute.
