With gusty northwest winds up to 25 mph and waves as high as 4
feet... there will be a moderate risk of rip currents along Alger
County beaches through early this evening.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A moderate risk of rip currents means that wind and/or wave
conditions support stronger or more frequent rip currents. Only
experienced surf swimmers should enter the water.
