Statement as of 5:48 AM EST on November 11, 2009 ... Areas of dense fog this morning... Fog will impact locations in and around Bridgeport... Birch Run... Chesaning and Owosso this morning. Visibilities in this fog will be less than a quarter mile at times. Visibilities in the fog will begin to improve after 9 am. Motorists should slow down and be on the lookout for rapidly changing visibilities. Those traveling Interstate 75 between Flint and Saginaw will experience this fog... as well as those traveling Interstate 69 between Flint and Lansing. Considine 346 am EST Wed Nov 11 2009 ... Areas of dense fog this morning... Fog will persist across much of Saginaw County this morning. The fog has been slowly advancing into northern Shiawassee and far northern Genesee counties. Visibilities will fall below a quarter mile at times in the fog. Locations that will experience the most persistent fog will be St Charles and Chesaning. The fog should advance into Owosso by 6 am. Motorists should be on the lookout for sudden changes in visibility due to the fog. Those traveling Interstate 75 through Saginaw County should be prepared for a sudden drop in visibility. Considine
