The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has extended the

* Flood Warning for... Newaygo County in west central Michigan... Oceana County in west central Michigan...

* until 900 PM EDT Wednesday

* at 750 PM EDT...flooding was sitll occurring...especially in eastern and southeastern portions of Oceana County and much of Newaygo County. Various roadways remain closed due to washouts and ponding water. Imrpovement has been minimal.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...Newaygo... Pentwater...Bitely...Fremont...Shelby...White Cloud...Aetna...Big Prairie...Bishop...Colfax...Croton Heights...Lilley...Oxbow...St. Huberts...Volney...Weare and Wooster.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.
