In northern Maine... Northwest Aroostook. In west central Maine... northern Somerset.
* From this evening through Friday evening
* expect up to 2 inches of rain to fall across the watch area from tonight into Friday with locally higher amounts possible.
* Heavy rain will cause area streams and many of the smaller and faster responding rivers to rise and possibly exceed their banks.
