The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 6 am EST Friday. Expect areas of dense fog across the region with visibilities reduced to a quarter mile or less through the early morning hours. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your low beams... and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
