... Strong thunderstorms will impact Androscoggin County... Kennebec
County... Oxford County... Somerset County and Franklin County through
1030 PM EDT...
At 929 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
developing line of strong thunderstorms extending from 19 miles
north of Farmington to 10 miles southwest of Bethel... moving east at
40 mph. These strong thunderstorms will affect areas in and around
Milton... Locke Mills... Kingfield... Avon... strong... Stoneham... New
Portland... Dixfield... Temple and New Vineyard through 1030 PM EDT.
Small hail... cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds to 40 mph can
be expected. In addition... as much as one inch of rain may fall in
less than 30 minutes. This much rain can result in localized street
flooding... as well as flooding in the low lying areas.
