... Fischer-Porter rebuild /fpr/ now implemented at cooperative station Houlton 5n, Maine on November 9, 2009.
This equipment modification will change the way the precipitation measurement is taken. There will be no change in the quality or timeliness of this station's hourly precipitation data /hpd/. Data will continue to be reported in monthly hpd publications.
There are a total of nine sites to receive the Fischer-Porter rebuild in the WFO-Caribou County warning area /cwa/. Sites that were upgraded are listed with their implementation dates below.

The data from fpr gauges will be reported by the National climate data center /ncdc/ as a monthly product in the hourly precipitation data /hpd/ bulletin five months after the month of measurement.
