Rain and snow early...then snow. Total snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches...especially across the higher terrain. Brisk with highs in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Mostly cloudy. A chance of snow showers in the evening. Brisk with lows in the lower 20s. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of snow 50 percent.

Partly sunny in the morning...then becoming mostly sunny. Brisk with highs around 30. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 1 am to 5 PM EST Saturday.
Rain will gradually mix with snow this evening before changing to all snow late tonight. The snow will continue through early Saturday before tapering to snow showers by later Saturday afternoon.
Total snow accumulations will range from 2 to 5 inches across the advisory area by later Saturday afternoon. The highest accumulations will be along the Maine and Quebec border... as well as the higher terrain.
Precautionary/preparedness actions... this storm will have a low impact on the advisory area. Snowfall across the region will lead to some minor travel difficulties. Visibility will occasionally be limited to less than one mile.
