... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 7 PM EST Tuesday...

* locations... North Woods... Central Highlands... and central and
southern Aroostook County.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 6 inches.

* Timing... snow will develop from south to north across the
region this evening... and will reach the Saint John valley
around or shortly after midnight. Snow will taper to snow
showers from south to north Tuesday afternoon into early
evening.

* Impacts... roads will become snow covered and slippery tonight
and Tuesday.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
