the Aroostook River at Washburn

* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river gage remains affected by ice jams in the area.
The river is expected to continue to gradually recede through the
afternoon and evening, but sudden fluctuations in river levels are
possible until the ice is completely flushed out.
