Statement as of 2:55 PM EST on November 9, 2009 ... Fischer-Porter rebuild /fpr/ now implemented at cooperative station Grand Lake Stream, Maine on November 9, 2009. This equipment modification will change the way the precipitation measurement is taken. There will be no change in the quality or timeliness of this station's hourly precipitation data /hpd/. Data will continue to be reported in monthly hpd publications. There are a total of nine sites to receive the Fischer-Porter rebuild in the WFO-Caribou County warning area /cwa/.
