... Coastal Flood Watch in effect from Monday evening through late
Monday night...

The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a coastal
Flood Watch... which is in effect from Monday evening through late
Monday night.

* Coastal flooding... overwash possible at the time of high tide
late Monday night along the Hancock and Washington County
coasts.

* Timing... around the time of high tide at 1 am Tuesday morning.

* Impacts... overwash possible... with the potential for minor
beach erosion. A few low lying roadways running along the beach
could experience minor sand and rock wash-up.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should be
alert for later statements or warnings... and take action to
protect property.
