... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 3 PM EST this
afternoon...

* locations... portions of downeast Maine and the Bangor region.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches.

* Timing... snow will continue this morning then taper off to snow
showers this afternoon.

* Impacts... moderate. Roads will remain snow covered into this
afternoon. Some blowing and drifting snow can be expected with
visibilities reduced to one mile at times.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
