Special Statement
Statement as of 12:25 PM EDT on May 24, 2015

The Maine state Forest service has indicated that the wildfire
danger across northern and eastern Maine is high today into early
this evening. The combination of winds gusting over 30 mph... low
relative humidity and dry conditions will promote rapid spread of
any fires that ignite. You should check with your local Fire
Department or forestry office before doing any burning. Please
remember that a burn permit is required for all burning.
