...Flood Watch remains in effect from Thursday morning through Friday morning...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of east central Maine...north central Maine and southeast Maine...including the following areas...central and southern Penobscot...central and southern Piscataquis...Washington and Hancock.

* From Thursday morning through Friday morning

* a total of 3 to 5 inches of rain is expected to fall across the watch area over the next couple of days. This could result in possible small stream flooding. Minor flooding of poor drainage or low- lying areas is also possible.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
