A coastal Flood Warning remains in effect until 6 PM EST this evening.
Strong north flow will continue to weaken today... but tidal anomalies will be slow to diminish... keeping the threat for moderate flooding through this afternoon's high tide cycle.
This next high tide will occur at 209 PM EST at Cambridge... and around noon at Bishops Head. Water levels referenced to mean lower low water are expected to be from 3.3 to 3.8 feet at Cambridge... and 3.6 to 4.1 feet at Bishops Head... resulting in minor to moderate flooding. Tidal anomalies are expected to slowly trend down tonight and Sunday... but minor flooding will still be possible around the time of high tides through Sunday.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A coastal Flood Warning means that flooding is occurring or imminent. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert for rising water... and take appropriate action to protect life and property.
