A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST Friday for mainly coastal portions of Anne Arundel... Calvert and St. Marys counties.
A strong coastal low pressure system will maintain a tight pressure gradient across southern Maryland. As strong northeast winds over the Chesapeake Bay continue through late tonight... occasional wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph can be expected... mainly along the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Winds will diminish gradually late tonight.
