Gusty northeasterly winds will push across the Chesapeake Bay and tidal Potomac waters through this period. Effects from the strengthening low will bring heightened water levels by early Friday... with minor flooding expected and moderate flooding possible during times of high tide on Friday afternoon and into Saturday... depending of the track and strength of the low as the weekend approaches.
Here are the times of the next high tides during the watch period. For a few locations from north to south... on the Chesapeake Bay... Havre de Grace... 6:16 am and 7:10 PM Friday... Fort McHenry Baltimore... 3:03 am and 3:57 PM Friday... Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy... 1:33 am and 2:27 PM Friday...
