EST this evening...

* locations... the Baltimore and Washington metropolitan areas
and north central Maryland.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow and sleet accumulation of up to 1
inch... particularly north of Washington DC... along with up to
one tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... midday Tuesday through late Tuesday evening.

* Impacts... roads likely snow and ice covered... more likely north
of Washington DC. Traveling will be dangerous.

* Winds... southeast 5 to 15 mph.

* Temperatures... in the mid to upper 20s... slowly rising into the
30s.
