At 256 am EDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a line of thunderstorms with the potential to produce brief street flooding rains... lightning strikes and southwest wind gusts to 35 mph along a line extending from 25 miles north of Provincetown to 3 miles south of Provincetown to 8 miles southwest of Bourne to 31 miles west of West Tisbury... moving east at 35 mph.
The area of coverage for this statement is Cape Cod and Marthas Vineyard.
This is probably the last primary band of showers and storms to pass through southeastern New England... though one more widely scattered band of storms is entering northwest Massachusetts but weakening.
