Flood Warning
Statement as of 6:31 AM EDT on March 20, 2010
The Flood Warning continues for
the Charles River at Dover.
* At 6:00 am Saturday the stage was 7.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 6.7 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impact... at 7.0 feet... flooding will close a portion of Mill Street
in Dover. Flooding also affects low lying sections of Medway along
Shaw street and Charles River Road... as well as 109 at the Millis -
Medfield line. Flooding also is expected along causeway street in
Medfield.
