... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Thursday evening...

* locations... southern Rhode Island and south coastal
Massachusetts.

* Hazard types... snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches.

* Timing... rain will change over to snow tonight and continue
through Thursday.

* Impacts... untreated roads will be snow covered and slippery.
Travel will be difficult.

* Visibilities... down to one half mile at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch is issued for the potential of accumulating
snow of 6 or more inches in a 12 hour period... or 8 or more
