The Flood Warning continues for the Charles River at Dover. * At 5:00 am Monday the stage was 5.9 feet. * Flood stage is 5.0 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 5.2 feet by tomorrow morning. * Impact... at 6.0 feet... flooding will affect a few homes in Needham along Fisher Street... as well as a portion of Route 109 at the Medfield - Millis line. Some flooding is also likely on the South Natick/Wellesley line along River Street.

* one to two inches of rain with locally up to 3 inches is expected across southern New Hampshire... central and eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island by late Tuesday. Some showers or occasional light rain will affect the region today... but the heaviest rainfall will occur tonight into Tuesday morning. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible.
* The heavy rainfall will likely fall over the same areas which were hardest hit from last weeks storm. Rivers are still running high and a few are still in minor flood. The heavy rain may bring more flooding on area rivers and streams.
