* Impact... at 8.0 feet... flooding will impact portions of Dover...
Medfield... Millis... Medway... South Natick... Needham and Wellesley
with Road closures and local evacuations possible.

The Flood Warning continues for
the shawsheen river near Wilmington.
* At 3:45 am Tuesday the stage was 10.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 8.9 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impact... at 11.0 feet... flooding will affect areas along the river
from Wilmington to Lawrence. Some roads will become impassable
including Route 114 near the i495 interchange. Follow the advice of
local officials... and evacuate if asked to do so. Do not drive into
areas where water covers the Road. Basement flooding in low lying
areas is likely and valuables should be moved to higher ground.

* At 1:45 am Tuesday the stage was 9.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Impact... at 9.0 feet... significant residential flooding will affect
people living along the Concord River. In Lowell... Merrill
street... joiners and Clark courts may be affected. In Billerica...
Pershing street and stoney drive as well as the Elsie Avenue
neighborhood will be affected. Follow the directions of emergency
management officials.

the Sudbury River at Saxonville.
* At 3:15 am Tuesday the stage was 12.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 12.9 feet by this
morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 13.0 feet... significant flooding occurs along the
river... especially in Wayland. Part of Route 20/State Road west
and Route 27/old Sudbury Road will be impacted. Should
evacuations be required... do so immediately. Follow the advice of
emergency management officials. Know alternate routes for travel...
and stay away from flooded areas.

the Nashua River at East Pepperell.
* At 3:30 am Tuesday the stage was 14.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 14.5 feet by this
afternoon then begin falling.
* Impact... at 14.0 feet... flooding is expected in low lying
residential areas along portions of the Nashua River. Follow the
directions provided by your local emergency management officials.
If you are asked to evacuate... do so immediately. Avoid flood prone
locations. Know the alternate routes in your location so you avoid
areas where flood waters may have damaged or closed area roadways.

* Flood stage is 5.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

by tomorrow morning.
* Impact... at 7.0 feet... significant flooding will affect interests
along the river in Maynard... Concord and Hudson. Roadways may
become impassable due to flood waters and some properties may need
to be evacuated. Follow the directions of local emergency
management officials.

* at 120 am EDT the rain of the past few days had finally come to an
end. However many of the smaller rivers and streams remain in minor
to moderate flood. There are also a few of the small and mid sized
rivers and streams that have yet to crest. Of particular note are
the Charles River in Medway... the Ipswich river in Ipswich and the
Taunton river in Bridgewater have yet to crest. It is with this in
mind that the Flood Warning for streams and small rivers has been
extended into Tuesday morning.
A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
Stream rises will be slow and flash flooding is not expected.
However... all interested parties should take necessary precautions
immediately.
