At 1050 am...the National Weather Service Doppler radar in Shreveport indicates an area of scattered showers and thunderstorms extending to the south of a line...from Gun Barrel City Texas...to near Longview Texas...to south of Shreveport...to near Minden Louisiana...to Calhoun and Rayville Louisiana...moving to the east near 25 miles an hour. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms to continue to affect parts of the region...this morning...generally south of Interstate 20. Additional rainfall amounts will range from one tenth to one quarter of an inch with isolated amounts around one half of an inch through noon.
