At 453 PM CST...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a nearly solid line of showers producing a brief period of moderate to heavy rain and wind gusts up to 25 mph. This line of showers was located from east of Tylertown near Dexter...to just west of Bogalusa...to near Covington...to Manchac...to 9 miles southwest of Convent...moving east at 25 mph. Through 600 PM CST...this line of showers and other small light rain areas will affect areas generally west of Interstate 59 including Bogalusa...the Northshore communities...northern and Western Lake Pontchartrain...Reserve...and LaPlace.
