... The Flood Warning extended until Sunday evening... the Flood
Warning continues for
the Cypress bayou at Wallace Lake south of Shreveport, Louisiana.
* Until Sunday evening... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 500 am Friday the pool stage was 152.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood pool stage is 151 feet.
* Forecast... the lake will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Sunday morning. Also Wallace Lake crested at 152.45 feet during
early this Friday morning during the wee hours.
* Impact... at 151.0 feet... high water will overflow and result in some
significant flooding on some secondary roadways around the southern
Kingston Road area. Livestock near the lake should be moved to
higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Coushatta.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 PM Thursday the stage was 31.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 33.0 feet by
Sunday morning. Additional rises remain possible thereafter.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Shreveport, Louisiana.
* From Wednesday evening until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 900 am Thursday the stage was 28.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Wednesday evening and continue
to rise to near 31.5 feet by may 30. Additional rises remain possible
thereafter.
* Impact... at 31.0 feet... russel Road will be overflowed and closed
between Blanchard Highway and I-220 in North Shreveport. High water
will approach the fant and Teague parkways on both tises of the river.
* Additional very heavy rainfall remains quite possible over the entire
upper Red River basin during the next seven days. Upwards of eight
eight remain possible through the middle of next week across
the Red River and its tributaries in southern Oklahoma and North Texas.
Red River basin reservoirs including Lake Texoma continue to fill as this
very wet Spring of 2015 continues. Soils remain saturated across North
Texas and southern Oklahoma and nearly all of the red river's tributaries
remain above flood stage.
* Area farmers... ranchers... and residents on the Red River need to closely
monitor the weather and Red River stages through the first week of June.
A major flood event could develop during this Memorial Day weekend
and into the final week of may.
