* at 826 PM CDT... severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles west of Springhill to 6 miles west of Cotton
Valley to near Eastwood to 9 miles east of Stonewall to near
Mansfield... moving east at 50 mph.

Hazard... 70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Bossier Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
Caddo Parish in northwestern Louisiana...
De Soto Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

* until 1215 am CDT

* at 812 PM CDT... Doppler radar indicated a line of severe
thunderstorms from near Plain Dealing to near Shreveport onto near
Logansport Louisiana. Excessive heavy rainfall is occurring with
this line. Expect rainfall amounts of one to three inches this
evening which will produce flash flooding.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Shreveport... Bossier City... Mansfield... Vivian... Haughton...
Greenwood... Blanchard... Benton... Stonewall... Logansport... Plain

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Coushatta, Louisiana.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 900 am Monday the stage was 31.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 33.0 feet by
June 2. Additional rises remain possible thereafter.
* Impact... at 34.0 feet... major flooding occurs. Severe backwater
flooding occurs from the confluence of the Red River with Loggy
Bayou, from upstream to below Lake Bistineau. Cattle and equipment
should be moved to higher ground, and preparations made for major
flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River at Shreveport, Louisiana.
* From late Saturday night until further notice... or until the
warning is cancelled.
* At 900 am Monday the stage was 28.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early Sunday morning and
continue to rise to near 31.5 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact... at 31.0 feet... russel Road will be overflowed and closed
between Blanchard Highway and I-220 in North Shreveport. Also
expect backwater flooding up Cross Bayou, Twelve Mile bayou, and
lower mccain creek. High water will creep up to near southern fant
Parkway and near the Teague Parkway.

the Red River at Fulton, Arkansas.
* From Saturday morning until further notice... or until the warning
is canceled.
* At 800 am Monday the stage was 18.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* Forecast... the river is expected to rise to near flood stage
Saturday morning.
* Impact... at 27.0 feet... slight overflow begins in the area between
the levees at Fulton but this flooding is considered minor at this
point.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Cypress bayou at Wallace Lake south of Shreveport, Louisiana.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 800 am Monday the pool stage was 151.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood pool stage is 151 feet.
* Impact... at 151.0 feet... high water will overflow and result in some
significant flooding on some secondary roadways around the southern
Kingston Road area. Livestock near the lake should be moved to
higher ground.
* Forecast... recede to below flood pool stage during late this Monday
evening.
