These showers and thunderstorms formed along and just ahead a cold front. The line is near a strong Arkansas...Bienville Louisiana...San Augustine Texas line...and movement has been steady to the east near 20 mph. Rainfall amounts have been observed...at around a quarter inch to a half inch per hour.

The Flood Warning continues for the Ouachita River at Monroe. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 7:00 PM Sunday the stage was 47.3 feet. * Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 40.0 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 47.0 feet by Tuesday morning and continue to recede some one to two inches a day through the end of November but remain above flood stage into mid December.
