Statement as of 9:37 AM CST on November 16, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Ouachita River at Columbia. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 6 am Monday the stage was 69 feet. * Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 65 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall around a tenth to two tenths of a foot per day through next weekend. The river will be near 68.5 feet by Friday morning. 937 am CST Mon Nov 16 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Ouachita River at Monroe. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 9 am Monday the stage was 47.2 feet. * Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 40 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue to fall around a tenth to two tenths of a foot per day through next weekend. Expect the river to near the 46.5 feet mark by Saturday morning.
