A lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT Sunday.
A very tight pressure gradient will persist across the entire four state region through Sunday evening... beneath a very strong upper level low pressure system that will slowly shift east across the Red River valley of northeast Texas and southeast Oklahoma tonight... and into southwest Arkansas and north Louisiana Sunday. This will result in west northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph... with gusts to 35 mph. These gusty winds should begin to subside by Sunday evening as this storm system begins to depart the area.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
