    Through 6 PM...scattered thunderstorms with heavy rain will continue from Vinton and Sulphur to Kinder, Iota, and Eunice. Storms will move north at 15 mph and inch an hour rainfall rates. Heaviest rains will be from Kinder to Oberlin where rainfall rates up to 2 inches an hour can be expected. Elsewhere, rural areas east of Alexandria, west of Bunkie, and west of DeRidder will also see inch an hour rainfall rates. Showers in southeast Texas are weakening with rainfall rates around a quarter inch an hour from Orange to Deweyville.
