The Flood Warning continues for
the Ouachita River at Monroe.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:00 PM Tuesday the stage was 47.8 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 48.0 feet by
Thursday morning then begin falling. At 48 feet... water is flooding
the underclearance of the desiard street bridge. Major lowland flooding
is taking place between the levee systems.
