At 405 PM...the National Weather Service meteorologists...in Shreveport...using Doppler radar...indicate a 60 mile wide area of widely scattered showers extending from near Falcon Arkansas to near Corrigan Texas...moving to the northeast near 30 miles an hour. Expect showers to continue to develop this afternoon and evening and affect parts of the area. Rainfall amounts will generally be less than one tenth of an inch...with isolated amounts near one half of an inch...through 5 PM.

Flood Warning
Statement as of 12:16 PM CST on November 15, 2009
The Flood Warning continues for
the Red Chute bayou at Sligo.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:00 am Sunday the stage was 33.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31.0 feet.
* Forecast... The Bayou will continue to recede some six inches
a day and fall below flood stage Friday morning.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Bodcau bayou at bayou Bodcau Lake.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 8:00 am Sunday the stage was 198.4 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 172.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 198.2 feet
by tomorrow morning.
