A lake Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.
A very tight pressure gradient will persist across the entire four state region through this evening as a very strong upper level low pressure system moves east across the Mississippi River this afternoon. This will result in west northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph... with gusts to 35 mph. These gusty winds should begin to subside after sunset as this storm system departs the area.
