... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 930 am CDT
for northwestern Iberia... Vermilion... eastern St. Landry... St. Martin
and Lafayette parishes...

At 858 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated a line of severe
thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds in excess of 60
mph. These storms were located along a line extending from near Krotz
Springs to near Forked Island... moving east at 30 mph. Penny size
hail may also accompany the damaging winds.

Lafayette... New Iberia... Opelousas... Abbeville... Catahoula... Scott...
Breaux Bridge... Carencro... St. Martinville... Kaplan... Krotz
