Nowcast as of 7:04 am CDT on March 21, 2010
Now
Widespread light to moderate rain showers will continue moving northward into our area. As this large shield of rain moves to the north and overspreads our area...hourly rainfall amounts will be less than a tenth of an inch per hour...with some locally higher amounts. Over the next 2 hours...most of the heavier and more widespread rain showers will be west of a line from Mount Vernon Illinois to Marion and Cadiz Kentucky. The activity will be more scattered in nature to the east of that line. However...the coverage will continue to become more widespread...as more and more rain streams into the area from the south.
